FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How fresh is the data?

The app shows the daily reports provided by the YouTube Analytics API. YouTube data usually arrives 24–72 hours late, and revenue in particular can take a few days to settle. Dates use Pacific Time, the same as YouTube Analytics, so they can be a day off from your local date.

Widgets refresh themselves about every hour; the actual interval depends on iOS and Android battery policies.

Does it work for channels that aren’t monetized?

Yes. Channels that aren’t in the YouTube Partner Program see views, watch time and subscriber changes instead of revenue. YouTube only provides revenue data for monetized channels.

Is this an official YouTube app?

No. Earning Widget for YouTube Creators is an independent app that uses YouTube API Services and isn’t affiliated with YouTube or Google. By using the app you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Is my channel data stored on a server?

No. Channel data such as revenue and views travels directly from the YouTube API to your device and is stored only there. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I revoke access to my Google Account?

Tap Disconnect in the app’s Settings to revoke Google access and erase the data stored on your device. Outside the app, open third-party access in your Google security settings, select “Earning Widget for YouTube Creators”, and remove access.

Does it cost anything?

It’s free. It’s supported by an occasional full-screen ad when you return to the app and by banners at the bottom of Settings and the widget guide — never on screens that show YouTube data. A one-time purchase removes ads.
