1. Use of YouTube API Services

To show the YouTube channel data of the Google Account you authorize, the app uses YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API v2). By using the app you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and information processed through YouTube API Services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

2. Google permissions we request

When you sign in with Google, the app requests only the OAuth scopes below. All of them are read-only; the app cannot change your channel, videos, comments or account settings.

3. Information we access, collect, store and use

Google Account information

Name, email address, profile photo URL and Google Account identifier — used to show your sign-in status and to identify which account a widget should use when it refreshes in the background.

YouTube channel information

Channel ID, channel name, channel image, public subscriber count, total views, video count, and the titles, thumbnails and publish dates of videos that appear in breakdowns — used only to show them at the top of the dashboard and in per-video breakdowns.

YouTube Analytics metrics and estimated revenue

Views, watch time, subscribers gained and lost, estimated revenue (including ad revenue, YouTube Premium revenue and gross revenue), ad impressions, monetized playbacks, CPM and playback-based CPM by date, video and country, and whether revenue data is available for your channel — used only to display them in the dashboard, channel details, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and new-data notifications. The app does not create derived metrics that YouTube does not provide.

Authentication data

Google OAuth access and refresh tokens (iOS), or access tokens issued by Google Play services on the device (Android) — used only to call YouTube APIs.

App settings and purchase status

Theme, language, display currency, default period, hide-amounts, notification time, your ad personalization and usage analytics choices, and whether you bought ad removal — used to make the app behave the way you want.

The app does not access any other personal information such as contacts, photos, precise location or payment methods.

4. Where data is stored — on your device only

• iOS: the refresh token is stored in the operating system Keychain (an App Group Keychain item shared by the app and its widgets), and account details in Keychain-backed secure storage. The widget summary (the last 14 days of revenue and views, and the subscriber count) and widget configuration are stored in App Group shared storage; app settings and the data cache are stored in the app’s private storage.
• Android: sign-in and tokens are managed by Google Play services on the device. The account email a widget needs to request a token, the widget summary and the widget configuration are stored in the app’s private SharedPreferences; app settings and the data cache are stored in the app’s private storage.
• Access tokens are kept in memory only and refreshed before they expire.
• YouTube data stored on the device is replaced with current values whenever the app or a widget refreshes, and, in line with YouTube API Services policies, data that has not been refreshed for more than 30 days is not kept.

5. How information is shared

We do not share your Google Account information or YouTube data with anyone, and never sell or rent it or use it for advertising, credit decisions, or training AI or machine-learning models. Not even the developer can see your channel data.

The app uses the services in section 7 to operate and improve, but no YouTube data or Google Account information is passed to them. We do not provide information to any other third party except where required by law.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)

Specifically:

• Google user data is used only to provide user-facing features: showing your channel information in the app, widgets and notifications.
• Google user data is never transferred to a developer server or to third parties, including advertising and analytics services.
• It is never used for advertising, including personalized, retargeted or interest-based ads.
• It is never sold, and never used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
• No human reads it. The data lives only on your device, so the developer has no access to it.
• It is never used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

7. Third-party services and advertising

The app is free, and a third party (Google AdMob) serves ads in the app. Ads appear only as an app-open ad when you return to the app and as banners at the bottom of Settings and the widget guide; screens that show YouTube data — the dashboard, channel details and widgets — never contain ads. If you buy ad removal, no ads are shown and the ad SDK is not initialized.

Each provider handles information under its own policy: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, Privacy and Security in Firebase, Sentry Privacy Policy, Expo Privacy Policy.

8. Device information and cookies

• The app stores and reads the information in section 3 in storage on your device (the Keychain, the app’s private storage and the widgets’ shared storage).
• Google AdMob and Firebase store and access information on your device, such as advertising identifiers and an app instance ID, for ad serving, measurement and usage statistics (section 7).
• This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics tools or ads.

9. International transfers

Through the services in section 7, advertising identifiers, device and app information, usage events, crash data and IP addresses may be transferred to and stored by Google LLC and 650 Industries, Inc. (Expo) in the United States and other countries where they operate. Error reports sent to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) are stored in the United States for up to 90 days. The operational alerts in section 7 pass through the developer’s site (earningwidget.leed.at, hosted by Cloudflare, Inc.) to the developer’s Slack workspace (Slack Technologies, LLC) and are kept for up to one year; daily totals per platform are stored with Cloudflare for 366 days. YouTube data and Google Account information are never transferred. To avoid these transfers, turn off usage analytics and ad personalization in Settings, or stop using and delete the app.

10. Revoking access, retention and deletion

Information on your device is kept until you disconnect, sign out or delete the app. Because no YouTube data is kept on a developer server, there is no server-side copy to delete.

• Disconnect in the app: Settings → Account → Disconnect asks Google to revoke the app’s token and deletes the tokens, account details, channel data cache and widget data stored on your device.
• Sign out: signing out in Settings deletes the tokens, account details, channel data cache and widget data stored on your device, and widgets switch to a signed-out state.
• Revoke from your Google security settings: at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions, select “Earning Widget for YouTube Creators” and remove access. The app and widgets can then no longer fetch data, and when the app or a widget detects the revocation on its next refresh, it deletes the YouTube data left on the device.
• Delete the app: data stored by the app and its widgets is deleted with it. On iOS, Keychain items can remain after the app is deleted, so we recommend using Disconnect first.
• Third-party services: Firebase Analytics data is deleted after up to 14 months, and Crashlytics and Sentry error reports after up to 90 days; AdMob data follows Google’s policies.
• Operational alerts: alerts in the developer’s Slack workspace are deleted after up to one year. The developer’s site keeps only daily totals per platform (for example, how many devices opened the app that day), stores nothing that identifies an individual device or person, and deletes these totals after 366 days.
• Support email: kept only as long as needed to answer and follow up, then deleted.

11. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in Korea, or the age set by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the app are limited to a PG content rating. If you learn that a child’s information has been processed, contact me@leed.at and we will act promptly.

12. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your information at any time. Most information the app handles exists only on your device, so you can review it in the app and remove it by disconnecting or deleting the app. You can turn off ad personalization and usage analytics in Settings at any time. For any other request, email me@leed.at and we will respond promptly.

13. Security

• All communication is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
• Tokens are kept in the operating system’s Keychain or secure storage, or by Google Play services.
• Only the minimum read-only scopes needed are requested.
• Your YouTube data is never collected on a developer server.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will announce it on this page and in the app at least 7 days before it takes effect (30 days for changes that are unfavorable to you). The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
