Getting started

1. Sign in with GoogleUse the Google Account you use for YouTube Studio. If your channel is on a Brand Account, Google asks you to choose the channel.
2. Allow all permissionsOn the consent screen, check both “See your YouTube account” and the YouTube Analytics reports item that includes revenue. If you leave the analytics item unchecked, you’ll see views without revenue.
3. Check the dashboardSwitch between periods from the latest day to the last 90 days to see revenue, views and changes.
4. Add widgetsAdd widgets to your Home Screen or Lock Screen to see revenue without opening the app.

Adding widgets

iPhone Home Screen

1. Enter edit modeTouch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, then tap Edit → Add Widget.
2. Find EarnWidgetSearch for “EarnWidget” in the widget gallery.
3. Choose a sizePick small, medium or large and tap Add Widget.

iPhone Lock Screen

1. CustomizeTouch and hold the Lock Screen, then tap Customize → Lock Screen.
2. Pick a widget areaTap the widget area below the clock, or the date area above it.
3. Add EarnWidgetChoose a rectangular, circular or inline EarnWidget widget.

Android Home Screen

1. Add from the appOpen the widget guide in the app and tap Add to Home Screen. Supported launchers add it right away.
2. Add manuallyOr touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, tap Widgets, find EarnWidget, and drop it where you like. Stretch the 2×2 widget vertically for a larger layout.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t see today’s revenue — the app shows a date a few days ago.

YouTube Analytics data usually arrives 24–72 hours late. Instead of showing days that haven’t been reported yet as zero, the app uses the latest date that has data. Revenue can keep changing slightly for a few days after it first appears.

The date is a day off from my local date.

YouTube Analytics splits every day in Pacific Time (US West Coast, PT). The app uses the same day boundaries as YouTube Studio, so dates can look a day off depending on where you are.

I only see views, not revenue.

There are two possible reasons. If your channel isn’t in the YouTube Partner Program, YouTube doesn’t provide revenue data, so the app focuses on views, watch time and subscribers. If your channel is monetized but revenue is missing, the analytics item that includes revenue was left unchecked when you signed in. Tap “Sign in again” in the app’s notice and check every item on the consent screen.

The consent screen has checkboxes. Do I have to check them all?

“See your YouTube account” is required to find your channel. The analytics item that includes revenue is optional, but without it you can’t see revenue. Both are read-only, so the app can’t change your channel.

The numbers differ from YouTube Studio.

Some YouTube Studio screens use real-time estimates or different period definitions. The app shows the YouTube Analytics API’s daily reports in Pacific Time, and amounts converted by YouTube when your display currency differs. Pull to refresh and compare the same period.

My widget isn’t updating.

Widgets refresh themselves about every hour, but the operating system decides the actual schedule. Opening the app refreshes widgets immediately. Low Power Mode on iOS and battery optimization on Android can delay updates. YouTube data changes once a day, so seeing the same numbers for hours is normal.

The widget says I need to sign in again.

This happens if you changed your Google password, revoked access, or your sign-in expired. Open the app and sign in again, and the widget will recover.

How do I switch to a different channel?

Go to Settings → Account → Switch channel to open Google’s account chooser. Pick another account or a Brand Account channel; the previous connection is removed and the app switches to the new channel. The app shows one channel at a time.

It says this account has no YouTube channel.

The Google Account you signed in with has no channel, or your channel lives on a Brand Account. Use Switch channel and choose the account or Brand Account that owns the channel.

How do I remove ads?

Buy “Remove ads” once in Settings. On a new device, sign in to the same store account and tap Restore purchase. Screens that show YouTube data never have ads in the first place.

Disconnecting and deleting your data

Earning Widget for YouTube Creators has no separate registration, and channel data is stored only on your device, so there is no server-side account or YouTube data to delete. Follow these steps to fully disconnect from your device and Google Account.

1. Disconnect in the appGo to Settings → Account → Disconnect. This revokes Google access and deletes the tokens, account details, channel data and widget data stored on your device.
2. Check your Google security settings (optional)In third-party access in your Google security settings, if “Earning Widget for YouTube Creators” is still listed, select it and remove access.
3. Remove widgets and delete the appRemove the widgets from your Home Screen and Lock Screen, then delete the app.
4. Request analytics deletion (optional)To have anonymous usage statistics and error reports collected by Firebase and Sentry deleted, email me@leed.at and we’ll tell you what we need to process it.
